Jorge Zuniga

Artist Profile

Jorge Zuniga is a percussionist and music educator from Pomona, California, originally from Baja California. An active freelance performer throughout Southern California, he has appeared with the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, Azusa Pacific University Wind Ensemble, and Citrus College’s Blue Note Swing Orchestra. His theater credits include productions at Chance Theater, Chapman University, Citrus College Haugh Performing Arts Center, Actors Co-op Theatre Company, and Irvine Valley College, performing in shows such as The Who’s Tommy, Cabaret, Mary Poppins, Hello, Dolly!, West Side Story, and Fun Home. In addition to performing, Jorge teaches percussion at Garey High School, where he mentors young musicians while continuing to maintain an active and diverse performance career.
