Theater Classes for 8-12 year-olds

Seasoned performers and newcomers alike will explore character creation, ensemble building and acting technique through text work and improvisation. Students will build confidence throughout our playful journey creating characters from the inside out and bringing them to life, culminating in a final showcase.

“Scene Study Secrets”

Dive deep into the art of scene study in “Scene Study Secrets”! This class is ideal for budding actors who want to sharpen their acting skills. Students will explore different scenes from plays and films, learning how to analyze scripts, develop characters, and convey emotions authentically. Through scene work and guided exercises, young actors will gain insights into blocking, pacing, and character relationships. Join us for an immersive journey into the world of dramatic storytelling!

“Musical Theater Magic”

Sing, dance, and act your heart out in “Musical Theater Magic”! This class offers an exploration of to musical theater for aspiring triple-threat performers. Students will study vocal techniques, choreography basics, and character development within a musical context. From Broadway classics to modern hits, participants will work on ensemble numbers and solo performances, culminating in a showcase of musical theater magic. Join us for a toe-tapping, show-stopping adventure where every student shines onstage!

“Improv Explorers”

Unleash your creativity in “Improv Explorers”! This class is perfect for young performers who love thinking on their feet and creating spontaneous scenes.
