Health & Safety Protocols

Safety is our number one priority at Chance Theater, and our goal is to create a safe environment during your visit. All shows at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center will be performed in accordance with state, county, and city health mandates as well as requirements from artist union contracts to enhance safety and minimize risk for our guests, artists, and staff who are visiting or working with us.

  • While masks are still strongly recommended by CDC, we will no longer be requiring mask-wearing or proof of vaccination to attend a performance.

What Else You Can Do

  • STAY HOME IF YOU ARE ILL: If you do not feel well, have had COVID-19 symptoms within the past 10 days, please stay home. Call our Box Office to talk with us about exchanging your ticket to a different performance or converting it into a donation.
  • PRACTICE FREQUENT HAND SANITIZING AND WASHING: Please feel free to use the hand sanitizer that is freely available in our lobby.

What We Are Doing

  • We have made it a policy to set our fans to ON anytime there are people in the building. We’ve upgraded to MERV 13 filters and get an estimated 12 air exchanges per hour on our Cripe Stage. Those HVAC numbers have been deemed safe at our full capacity for more than twice the duration of our performances.
  • PROTOCOLS FOR ARTISTS AND STAFF: All artists and staff must participate in daily health screenings. Like visitors, they must confirm they are feeling well and have not recently been exposed to COVID-19.

If you have a question or require specific accommodation, please contact us before coming to Chance Theater at info@chancetheater.com or call our Box Office at (888) 455-4212

These protocols currently in place are subject to change in compliance with revisions to national and local guidelines regarding COVID-19. While we will provide the most up-to-date public health procedures to improve safety, they are not an absolute protection against contracting COVID-19. Persons assume the risk of contracting COVID-19 by entering our facilities.
